Dampers and Fire Dampers prevent the air pass and the spread of flames and smoke through the vents, so they offer a high level of protection for both people and goods.

CONAU VENTILATION supplies APPROVED Fire Dampers for use in ducts that cross class divisions (bulkheads and decks) in marine and offshore.

CONTROL SYSTEM
The Fire Dampers are normally open and become the lock position when the air reaches the nominal temperature thermal fuse (50 º C, 74 º C or 100 º C). Manually operated and / or automatic: ELECTRIC or AIR.

SURROUND / BODY
Both the rectangular envelope (RFD) and the circular (CFD) are designed to work in extreme environments. They are constructed of galvanized steel with a large wall thickness (4 mm to 10 mm for larger sizes).

Also available in stainless steel AISI 304 or 316.

LOADERS
The blades of the fire damper is a double plate construction aerodynamic ceramic wool with a thickness of between 10 mm and 30 mm.

SHAFT
304 stainless steel. Also available in stainless steel on request.

BOARDS
Rubber.

Bronze self-lubricating.
